The Art of Paulina Stuckey
Having spent much of her time drawing from a very young age, Paulina finds solace in creating and sharing with our world her own magical world of whimsy. Paulina's 'Restless Moon Gallery' is filled with her beautiful fairy and fantasy art throughout the pages of her Print Gallery, as well as links to other images that she has created over her career. Her work can be found in magazines and e-zines throughout the world, on cards and bookmarks, on calendars, on website banners, amongst many other locations. Most recently, her work was selected to accompany the work of the some of the best Fairy Artists in the World, and was published in the book 'The Art of Faery' released by Paper Tiger in 2003. Paulina's World is filled with fairies and other magical creatures. This is a world that she, through her heart and the eye of her spirit, brings forth images as she sees them. Both the image and the composition of the piece are born into her world, and then she brushes them into ours with love and a breath of herself. Her images touch with their innocence, and are felt in our own.

ArtLex on Impressionism
Impressionism - An art movement and style of painting that started in France during the 1860s. Impressionist artists tried to paint candid glimpses of their subjects showing the effects of sunlight on things at different times of day. The leaders of this movement were: Camille Pissarro (French, 1830-1903), Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917), Claude Monet (French, 1840-1926), and Pierre Renoir (French, 1841-1919). Some of the early work of Paul Cézanne (French, 1839-1906) fits into this style, though his later work so transcends it that it belongs to another movement known as Post-Impressionism. Impressionism defined, many with illustrations, great quotations, pronunciation notes, and links to other resources.
