The Work*Shop - Walk-in Arts and Crafts, Classes, Events, Parties
The work*shop is basically a walk-in arts and crafts studio. You may already be familiar with a paint-your-own ceramics store – well, the work*shop offers that, plus much more. Co-founders Cynthia Burrow and Lisa Maxwell are long-time Austinites who have been friends since they attended Westwood High School. Their vision for The work*shop is to create a home away from home for diverse members of the Austin community—families, professionals, businesses, nonprofit organizations and artists.
The work*shop offers you a unique and memorable environment in which to discover and develop your creative abilities and provides vendors and teachers with an outlet to develop and promote their own individual interests and products. The work*shop strives to be a responsible corporate citizen, because we believe it is our duty to give back to the community which supports us.
