Whirlingturban - For Discriminating Lovers of Vintage Fashion
Whirlingturban is a small custom design studio surrounded by an orchid-dripping and dragonfly-humming tropical garden in peaceful and inspiring Ubud, Bali. Katherine Robinson, with experience gleaned from Manhattan’s fashion industry and Hollywood’s entertainment industry, fullfilled a dream when she opened this workshop where she could make services she formerly provided to Hollywood available affordably to other vintage clothing enthusiasts like herself. All of their creations are one or few of a kind. With a tiny staff of Bali’s best seamstresses, we make garments lovingly, by hand, one at a time. We recreate "Vintage Greats"; the most desireable and hard to find styles, use hand work and construction techniques which are no longer practical on modern factories. We offer an array of sizes that only a small shop which can afford to cut one by one can offer, thus giving our customers a "Movie Star Fit". If your looking for custom made dresses with a movie star fit, Katherine is the person you need. Every dress she designs is amazing.
