Wes is an eclectically-talented musician living in San Francisco, CA. He first began teaching vocal percussion -- the art of human beatbox -- in 1995, and has taught thousands of students in private lessons, lectures and demonstrations. He is the "drummer" for The House Jacks of San Francisco. Wes can make about a zillion noises with his mouth, including a bunch of dead-on imitations of drum sounds. But it's not just snares and cymbals. It's also dozens of different "electronic effects" -- all created without any electronics. Wes also has an amazing talent for teaching. Whether it be vocal percussion, a cappella performance, preparation for a recording, or any of many other topics, Wes is able to take complex information and deliver it in an easy-to-understand and fun way.

Marla Leigh
Marla Leigh specializes in ethnic percussion and flutes. She leads annual Women's Drumming and Yoga Retreat in Hawaii every spring and can also be found teaching drumming at other holiistic retreats. Also, Marla is recording her debut CD of healing drumming music, release date Fall 2004!
