launch our new Online E-Zine
www.culturalcreativeliving.com (under development) which will be an
extension of our Current 'My Pathways' Newsletter, as well as a Full
Service Print Magazine.
In preparation for the
evolution of our 'My Pathways Newsletter' into our new Cultural Creative
Living Online E-Zine, we have changed our name, beginning with this
Edition. You will continue to receive this Newsletter, even after our
sister website is launched, so there is NO NEED for any changes or
re-subscribing on your part :)
Introduction:
I AM a Cultural Creative.
Cultural Creative Living is an informal way of life for people in the
United States and around the World who seek to deepen their
understanding and practice of cultural creativity, thus, are dedicated
to the health, wellbeing, upliftment and evolution of the planet and
human spirit. It is based on a philosophy of interdependence, of respect
for life as well as non-living parts of Nature, and of responsibility
for future generations.
There is no single path towards a cultural creative living -- quite the
contrary. Each person, community, ethnic or religious group, region,
country, or culture should search for its own unique approaches based on
historical roots, technologies, population dynamics and specific natural
conditions.
Just as we believe in finding a variety of ways to embrace cultural
creative living, we also seek to identify basic principles and
approaches acceptable for different human cultures. This Newsletter
endeavors to explore the diversity and unity of the myriad of approaches
to Cultural Creative Living.
Are you a Cultural Creative? A Cultural Creative is
also someone who is a designer of the future. We are creating,
collectively, a new culture. We're willing to redesign our lives in
order to afford ourselves an opportunity to contribute to the world we
live in. We're well connected with the word, we're well read, we're
optimistic, we're internationally aware, and we're spiritual. We are
willing to be different, and make a difference ...
We different than most other
people our key value of authenticity and our ability to apply reframing
in our lives. Reframing lets us look at our old problems from a new
angle of vision. This emphasis on authenticity is at the center of who
We are today, and is one of the key values we've brought into American
life.
Our General Characteristics;
1)
Spirituality and self-actualization, a sense of the sacred that
incorporates personal growth, psychology, holistic health, and spiritual
service to others.
2) Sustainability beyond environmentalism, rebuilding community,
planetary, ecological, the sacredness of nature, voluntary simplicity.
3) Globalism, love of foreign travel, foreigners, and the exotic.
4) Relationships, feminist ideology, women's issues, family, and
nonviolence.
5) Social conscience and optimism, altruism, idealism.
We believe society faces significant problems and needs to reinvent its
culture, institutions and practices to solve them and provide a future
for our children. We are seeking to reintegrate our values into our
everyday lives and are ready to take action on a wide range of social,
environmental and spiritual concerns.
We have Green values, meaning we all are committed to sustaining the
planet, and we subscribe to environmental responsibility, spiritual and
personal development.
Our worldview comes from many different pathways and issues --
environmental, social justice, civil rights, health and healing,
spiritual, new age. Our Core values are ecological sustainability; civil
rights for women and communities of color; self-actualization and
spirituality; and social conscience and optimism.
New Thought, Cultural
Creative, Motivation, Inspiration, Spiritual Growth, it's all the same.
We know that Physical and Spiritual Healing IS possible through the
power of mind and spiritual awareness.
You are a Cultural Creative if

fundamental truth is what makes healing possible. It seems that the
journey into healing and spiritual transformation is primarily a matter
of removing all doubts that this is so. We believe that to realize Your
True Nature is the true purpose and destination of every human life. The
journey may differ for each one of us, but the destination is the same.
Your True Nature Productions aspires to be a Foundation of love,
strength, contentment, and kindness; the Now from which it springs, is
Newness itself. As such, it is not that Your True Nature itself must be
renewed, but it is we who must learn what it means to renew ourselves.
And here, in this one paramount Truth, lies the True Nature of our inner
work.
Spiritual Fidelity
By living from Your True Nature, you become a healing presence quite
naturally. Each of us has a gap between our authentic nature and our
everyday life. We compromise ourselves by holding on to the illusion
that we are not enough - that we are not talented enough, beautiful
enough, lovable enough, intelligent enough, important enough, or wealthy
enough. This is nothing new for the mind of humankind.
Our stories are steeped in mental minutiae that rule our lives, with the
result that very little new is actually possible. It is clear that the
old way is not working, as we watch systems, institutions, communities,
countries, and individuals break down everywhere.
You may have noticed by now that you are no longer able to rely on
familiar myths and survival methods of trickery that focus on the small
I am of Who You Are. The Universe has issued a wake-up call, again and
perhaps finally, and is asking that we shed the deception of our
controlled separate lives and begin in earnest the journey back to our
True Nature: balance, love, integrity, sexuality, and soul in harmony.
It is time to stand on Holy Ground in the midst of your personal
transformation. It is time to strive for a clear mental sky, where your
true nature shines radiantly, separation dissolves, and all merge into
One. It is time to give birth to the best that is within you.
Are you aware that you are a Source of immense power and of exceptional
value, not only in the restoration of this planet, but also in the
healing of the heart of every person alive? You have the power to alter
the human condition, and each of us reflects, influences, and is that
condition. What condition are you in? What are you adding to or
subtracting from humanity?
If you consider the magnitude of this reality, then making tracks now to
liberate yourself from your old way of life will become top priority.
The path back from self-abandonment, the bleeding of your heart, and the
sadness in your psyche is to return to your true nature. There is
nothing more important for the planet and the future of humankind than
for every person to become free.
By embracing Your True Nature, you will lose the desire to find refuge
in that which is false. Instead, you will discover the evolution that
occurs when one returns to one's true Self, one's True Nature. You will
find the human condition healing as you take your authentic, unique,
necessary, balanced self out into the world and live your life's
purpose. You will come to understand why you are here and you will live
your life to prove it possible. Once returned to your true nature, you
will be dazzled by your love affair with humanity and your mind will
have no fixed notion about Who You Are.
Life is not a box of chocolates, life is the essence of Your True
Nature which can only be realized through self-discovery.

Our free
monthly spiritual newsletter began publication in May of 2000. In it, we
discuss issues related to personal and spiritual growth; discovering and
