Title:
The Soul & Inner
Cleansing
When you tell the truth, your energy increases and when you
don’t tell the truth, you become depleted. Many people are exhausted and
depleted because they are not being starkly honest with themselves. When
you are authentic, your soul thrives. I had the intention of writing
about Soul Mates but it occurred to me to write more
about a Soul on its own beforehand. I believe we need to address what we
mean by a Soul before we get into anything else.
A Soul is a Divine entity that keeps moving from body to body for
centuries increasing its personal growth and enlightenment by
understanding different human issues that are important to that Soul.
From learning about religions, ethnics, skin color, labeling,
prejudice, hate, anger, betrayal, love, kindness, helping others, etc… A
Soul keeps coming back to the same situation until it acquires all the
necessary understanding required for it to move to a higher level of
awareness and closer to its perfection.
I’ve asked that question to my guides before. How does a Soul enter a
body? What comes first? This has always fascinated me. Is the Soul in
the womb of the mother during pregnancy or after? According to my
guides, two Souls cannot be in one body at the same time, otherwise it
is against the free will of the mother. The new body in the womb is
still under work or construction and is nourished through the body of
the mother. It has been built with all the genetic effects of the
parents. The body is still an empty shell being prepared for the new
Soul to be born.
The way that Soul enters into that body is at the moment of delivery.
The head always comes out first; on the top of the head you have the
Crown Chakra that will be opened for that Soul to enter his or her
Temple. It will take a split second before a cry comes out from that new
born. When that Soul leaves this plane to get back into Spirit it will
leave from the Root or Base Chakra at the base of the spine.
I thought about it for a while and had to analyze it too. That makes it
more interesting to me and finally the process did make lots of sense to
me. Here I am not trying to force my belief on you. You can believe in
whatever you feel is truth for that matter, which may also be possible.
The higher the Soul becomes, the wiser it becomes. Such as, to be more
open minded to different religions, ethnic groups, or skin colors,
without any judgment, without any hate, without any prejudice. An old
Soul does not judge another Soul because they drink, or use drugs, or
even why they would be begging on the street. It is when we are ignorant
in our understanding that we label people for the way they are. We are
thinking we are better off than them, but in reality we are not.
Just think about it! Instead of facing it and seeing why such a Soul
is using drugs, or getting drunk, or whatever happen to that Soul that
made him/ her to change course in their life we judge without having the
facts. This is what will determine or distinguish an old Soul from a
younger Soul. It is that wisdom and understanding of a higher outlook to
life that allows you to see the bigger picture rather than looking at it
from a smaller point of view or with a narrow mind.
Now a Soul inhibits, through centuries in lifecycles, one after another
for its growth in the body, the temple of the Soul. Once a human being
understands and looks at another human being as a Soul, and that it is
here for its growth and enlightenment, then prejudice will fade, as well
as hate, and abuse. Remember the body or temple that
our soul chose for this lifetime. If being black, Jewish, Protestant,
Catholic, or even handicapped, it is a lesson where a Soul wants to get
into the bigger picture of a particular situation. Probably in their
next life that same Soul will chose the same or different circumstances
for its growth.
I remember a good friend of mine, Laurie ( a yoga teacher), told me a
while back when I started on my path that I was a very old Soul. At that
time it sounded big and great. I did not understand what she meant by
it. The terminology sounded good but it was all new territory for me
that I had not embarked on at that point. I was always aware of one
thing ever since I was a kid - that I always felt old, or older than my
age, and that nothing mattered to me. I always felt I did not need much
to be happy.
Some of you can probably relate to what I am talking about here. Now,
I believe I understand what she meant by it. I am getting the bigger
picture. Actual numeric age bears no relevance on the age of the Soul,
and wisdom should never be measured by age. It is always better to
listen and pay close attention to someone in our surrounding who is
younger than us. We should never disregard them just because of their
age.
I mentioned labeling before and maybe some of you did not understand
what I meant by that. I have had the opportunity to travel to many third
world countries and learn about those people who live there while we are
taking our life for granted. One of my experiences occurred while I was
living and working in a country where people are
labeled according to where they come from.
I do not treat people differently whether they are a doctor or
someone who washes dishes for a living. But when we label a worker or a
dishwasher and treat them like they don’t exist we degrade this human
being while calling ourselves civilized. Affluent people or a person
living on the street, are all the same. They are all Souls who are here
to acquire certain experiences and knowledge. There is nothing wrong
with either. It is not who you are, or what you do, that makes you a
human being. Think about it carefully, because one day your own Soul
might go for the experience of being a person who washes dishes. You
will then come to really learn what it is to be humiliated by another
human being. What can create
Karma between people is the way we treat each other in one lifetime.
When soul-dominated, we never expect ourselves or another to be perfect;
we understand that we're all spiritual beings learning how to be human
and feel compassion for the ambiguities of life we all must face. We all
make terrible mistakes, and as we learn to live in forgiveness, we don't
have to carry all this polluted emotional garbage around in our
consciousness.
We stay open-hearted and clear. Just as plants reach toward the sun,
we human beings forever strive toward "the light," intent upon
blossoming our unique individuality. Since this compulsion to evolve is
so natural to us, why, then, is this journey so fraught with so much
darkness and unclarity? Having been blessed with this beautiful gift of
incarnation, why are we such irresponsible stewards here? Perhaps the
answer to this paradoxical struggle lies within the very human psyche
which creates it. This is why it is necessary to cleans your soul every
day!
The Soul - The Importance of Inner Cleansing
True inner cleansing, which is so often overlooked by today’s
lightworkers, is a discipline which I consider to be the number one step
on any spiritual path. Symbolically, of course, cleansing has been used
in all religions since the beginning of time. In Christianity, the rite
of baptism represents a purging of our sins. The smudging
ceremony in Native American circles uses smoke to remove any negative
energies. For healers, a real or symbolic washing of the hands allows
the practitioner to rid him or herself of the patient’s disease.
All too often, these cleansing rituals are performed solely on the
physical level, while their true meaning is completely ignored. When we
take the time to truly examine these
rituals, however, we discover that in fact, their meaning is quite
clear. However, today we understand that we are made up of much more
than just the physical body. In fact, we possess seven bodies (actually,
we possess many more; however, in our current evolution, we can access
these seven bodies).
Cleansing concerns the first four bodies: physical, etheric, astral
and mental. Every event in our experience is stored as memory in each of
these four bodies. The physical body interprets and remembers each event
as sensations in the body. The etheric body, which is our "blueprint" or
body double, interprets and remembers each event as impressions and as
psychic triggers which can block the functioning of our chakras. The
astral body interprets and remembers each event as a series of emotional
responses. The mental body interprets and remembers each event as
thoughts and images.
So: each event that happens to us affects us at a rate of four times the
impact of the original event, resulting in trauma to the four bodies,
imbalance, disharmony, and a whole lot of what I call "psychic debris."
This disharmony feeds on itself and is also nourished by our karmic
residue, by our subconscious, by any disincarnate entities
which attach themselves to us during our moments of extreme
vulnerability and by physical excesses of any kind. The impact of the
original event can now be seen as affecting us seven times the rate at
which it should.
It must be understood that this gross imbalance actually prevents us
from achieving the spiritual development we all strive for. The
solution? Deep cleansing! In order to truly be able to reach the point
at which we can interpret our life from the point of view of our
Higher Self, or God Self, we must bring all four of our lower bodies
into balance. This can only be achieved through a multiple cleansing
ritual. Dealing with anger, for example, may heal the emotional body,
but the other bodies are still imbalanced. Repeating affirmations may
quiet the mind, but does nothing for the other bodies. It may now be
easier to understand why so many of us follow certain spiritual
disciplines which work for a while, then cease to be effective.
I would suggest a multiple spiritual cleansing method which may take
more time than any one discipline, but which will certainly produce
long-lasting results. For the physical body, you may want to try hot
baths, herbal teas, yoga or some other form of exercise,
massage, recreation and simple relaxation.
For the etheric body, choose from a multitude of available options:
acupuncture, Reiki, chakra balancing, therapeutic touch, Shamballa
multidimensional healing, auric cleansing, Shiatsu, and others. If money
is an issue, simply spend five minutes a day massaging your feet, while
visualizing energy flowing freely from your feet to each of
your chakras, aligning and balancing them.
The most precious gift you can give to your astral or emotional body is
forgiveness. Take the time to forgive every person on your path who has
hurt you, past and present, and don’t forget to include yourself. Learn
to see forgiveness not as a justification of the
other’s behavior, but as a personal release which opens up your
blockages and brings your energies into balance. Also for your emotional
body, true progress comes when you are vigilant enough to catch yourself
feeling negative emotions, and when you then
take the time to choose a higher emotion.
Realize that all emotions are a matter of choice: it is only the
memory stored in your astral body which triggers the first automatic
response, but it takes time and work to create more positive emotional
memories. You may also want to try deep breathing and journal writing to
help you work through some
of your emotions. And don’t forget prayer. For prayer to be effective,
it’s got to come from the heart, i.e., from your deepest emotions. A
prayer spoken from the heart can literally move mountains.
For the mental body, try affirmations, journal writing, creative
visualization, and mantras, chanted aloud. These disciplines allow you
to quiet your thoughts and to choose only those thoughts which lead you
in a more positive direction. Here again, you must be vigilant about
your thoughts. Affirmations can work only if they outweigh your negative
thinking. Therefore, the first step is to be aware of just how often you
think negatively.
Keep a small notepad with you and make a notation every time you
catch yourself complaining, judging, whining, and criticizing. Many of
us can easily score a hundred points a day! At that rate, it becomes
easy to see why affirmations can be pointless; it is useless to repeat
affirmations three or ten or twenty-one times a day when we are thinking
negatively ten times that amount. Once you are aware of your thoughts,
the second step is to replace every negative thought with a positive
one, and then do your affirmations.
Spiritual cleansing is much like a healthy diet. We are told to choose
foods from each of the four food groups in order to have a balanced
diet. In the same way, we must choose a discipline from the four body
groups in order to achieve the deep cleansing we really need. It doesn’t
matter which disciplines we try, as long as all four body groups are
represented.
Then, every evening before retiring, review your day and through
prayer and meditation finish off anything still unresolved. Then, call
for a "big dream" to give you messages that put you squarely back on
your path. Record each dream and date it. In this way, your inner and
outer life will become one.
Try this daily for twenty-one days, or until it becomes a habit for you.
Once deep cleansing is a habit, feel free to add whatever spiritual
practices you feel comfortable with, and watch your progress accelerate.
Happy cleansing!
If you wholeheartedly invest in this daily practice, you'll enter the
conscious circle of humanity, knowing you're here to purify the DNA and
thereby cleanse our world. In our wholeness, the soul shines through
with effervescent joy, illuminating our every action, feeling and
thought. We become responsible citizens in this sacred human experience
we call 'life on planet Earth.'
Some definition or understandings:
Guides are evangelic beings that work with us throughout our lifetime to
help us and assist us to stay in tune and on our path. They are around
us regardless if you believe in them or not.
Chakra – the human body contains seven major centers of energy which we
call Chakras. Each Chakra holds a centre of energy located within our
etheric body through which we receive, transmit and process life
energies.
The Crown Chakra – located on the head. Its quality is unification of
the higher self with the human personality and with the infinite
spiritual progress, unity divine.
The Root or Base Chakra – located at the base of the spine (Coccy). Its
quality is grounding the physical body, and stability.
