Cell Phones for Soldiers

Non-profit group that collects used cell phones and sells them to get calling cards for soldiers in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. The Cell Phones for Soldiers program was started by thirteen year old Brittany Bergquist and her twelve year old brother Robbie of Norwell MA. They hope to provide as many soldiers as possible with prepaid calling cards for now, with an ultimate goal of providing banks of cell, satellite, or VOIP communications. They have already distributed calling cards to soldiers in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. Electronic Ballast Design for HID Lamps

Presently, the energy saving related issues have increasing importance. Substitution of low efficient equipment with high efficient ones are strongly recommended. HID lighting industry is one of these areas where the high efficient electronic ballasts can provide significant energy saving. The purpose of this site to present a simple overview about the specific features of HID lamps and related ballast requirements.
