When a negative incident hits us, do we pause to ask, ‘What did I sow?’ What did I THINK, not DO, to attract this experience?
Our thoughts lead us to our consequences and experiences. We need to be mindful that we bear the consequences of our thoughts in two ways.
Firstly, immediately when we think. How do we feel when we have a negative thought? Our feelings reflect our thoughts and affect us physically.
We can feel a pull in the stomach or our heartbeat goes up. This feeling inside in fact might be an indication of the spiritual quality of that thought!
At the second level and not so visible, we release the negative energy of our thoughts towards someone or some situation when we have a negative thought.
When we do this, we accumulate OUR own stock of negative energy (bad karma) towards ourselves as well.
This energy remains in our space and boomerangs later towards us. In this way, ‘As we sow, so we reap’ manifests in our lives in two ways.
