Shelley is a gifted pet psychic, intuitive and Reiki healer, whose work blends eastern healing philosophies with western medicine. Her journey working with animals started over a decade ago with a mission to create the most excellent, optimal care for all creatures great and small.

Her expertise in both areas stems from extensive study and experience. Her background includes a BS in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, years as a veterinary assistant working for both large and small animal veterinarians, as an assistant on horse and cattle operations, as well as a research associate and technician providing exception health care for the animal division of an international biotechnology company.

“Many times the behavior and the health of animals and people is altered by the energy of the space and environment in which they inhabit. Often the space can be congested with negative or old energies and thought forms from previous land inhabitants, ex-employees and owners, energetic vortexes on the property etc. These energies can create problems and the energy should be cleared to create an environment that feels more comfortable and therefore can increase productivity and happiness”.

Over the years she has evolved as a level 3 Reiki practitioner, studied clairvoyant and intuitive healing, energy medicine, and many other modalities of energy work.

Out of her experience, Shelley has created LightWorks, a company that offers classes, consultation services, and individual sessions in energy balancing and animal communication. LightWorks is dedicated to help heal, inspire and educate people and their pets so that they may have a happy, joyful and balanced life together. When not working Shelley likes to ride horses, and take underwater photographs of humpback whales and sea turtles.
